August 15-ish on the 15th

With dozens more images to edit, this 15th gave me a push to get some editing done!    A trip to the grandparents’ gave us a chance for some new scenery and activities!

Scroll down and click on over to VIMEO for a video I put together of the kids learning about harvesting grain and making flour.

When you’re done, head on over to see Angela’s beautiful 15!

What a perfect place for grandkids to visit!

Jennifer, these are so great! Summer, for sure. That image of your dad on the dino… so amazing! And I am in love with the tractor image. Just beautiful. Americana.

Something fishy . . . July 15 on the 15th

A new toy has joined the ranks, my very first fisheye lens!  The Sigma 15mm 2.8.  We headed out today for a little fun in the sun and a short test drive. Even snapshots look fun!

While you can, if you wish, adjust the lens correction to straighten things out, my children all insisted on “BENDY!!!”

When you’re done here, make the rounds (har-dee-har) to Angela’s Blog to see her beautiful work.

Bubble envy! I just love the playfulness it ads to your images!

Angela - July 16, 2015 - 1:40 pm

These are great… and I’m chuckling over a selfie with a DSLR! It can be done! 🙂
Goodness… I really love the one where you are under the pier and looking at your adorable family out on the beach. That lens captures the entire moment!

Laura - July 16, 2015 - 6:53 pm

It looks so less cold than when we went! Great snaps 🙂

I love these! Wide angle shots are a necessity. Your kids are big! I love the selfie with your hubby

100 Days of Summer {15 on the 15th]

Finally getting around to catching up on the blog posts here after a long, long stretch at work. The sun is shining, the ice-cream flowing, and we’re making the most of the time that we have.

When you’re done here, head on over to Ashley’s Blog to see her take on this week’s 15 on the 15th!

I wish I had started a 100 days of summer thing. I love capturing this time especially as my son starts to approach school age. He’s 4.5 and could go to K this year, but I am keeping in preschool one more year. I feel like time is going to be treasured during summers. 😀 These capture that so much!

I love how full of life these images are! Those sprinkler images are so cute!
